In this self-directed resource – which accompanies the course ‘Introduction to Curriculum Design and Planning (Core 6a)’ – you will consider your role in your college’s curriculum offer.

That offer needs to be relevant, informed by local and national requirements, and appropriately funded. You’ll explore your college’s learner profile and evaluate the extent to which the curriculum meets their needs and helps them to progress.

Who is this for?

This is a core level self-directed learning resource and is designed to provide foundational learning in key areas of governance that all governors should be competent in.

This resource is particularly useful for new governors, for those who have served for under two years or established governors seeking to refresh and update their knowledge in key governance topics.
