In these podcasts, you’ll explore the different roles and responsibilities in a college board – including the clerk or governance professional. You’ll consider the board’s role in human resource (HR) activity, and the importance of the board in relation to strategic systemic leadership and the setting of organisational culture.

You will also look at the board’s role in ensuring its own diversity, with reference to the skills it needs and the community it serves.

Who is this for?

This core-level resource is particularly useful for governors who have served for under two years, or established governors seeking to refresh and update their knowledge in key governance topics.
