This course explores how teachers can support learners to make decisions and control narrative voice, structure and time for effect in their creative writing. The course activities encourage participants to try out suggestions for writing activities before using them with their learners.
Programme aim
To explore a range of activities designed to help learners plan, develop ideas and prepare non-fiction writing tasks in GCSE and Functional Skills qualifications.
Who is this for?
This course is for teachers who teach GCSE, Functional Skills English or other tutors and support staff who need to support the development of learners' English skills.
Programme structure
This course is 2 hours in length and can be delivered as a live online session or face-to-face delivery.
