Build trust and consistency to improve post-16 learner outcomes.
Programme aim
This follow on webinar delivered by City of Sunderland College focuses on consistency, co regulation, and trust across post 16 settings. You will examine how inconsistent staff responses increase learner anxiety and reduce engagement, and how a shared, predictable approach improves confidence and behaviour. The session provides practical strategies for co regulation, including tone, body language, and clear communication. You will explore how teams agree consistent routines, language, and responses across departments. There is also a focus on staff wellbeing, helping teams stay aligned, manage pressure, and maintain a calm, supportive environment for learners.
