Programme aim

In this Luminate Education Group-led session, participants will explore how pre-internship and work skills learners with high needs use technology in their everyday lives.

Drawing on conversations with learners, the session will examine the digital tools and apps they use most frequently, their preferred methods of communication, and their perspectives on artificial intelligence (AI).

These insights will be compared with wider national trends to provide a broader understanding of learners' digital experiences and needs.  

The session will also showcase practical digital tools that can support learning and independence, alongside strategies for developing essential digital skills. Participants will leave with practical ideas and top tips to help learners build the confidence and capabilities they need to succeed in education, work placements, and future employment.

Teachers and practitioners in the FE and Skills sector; learning support staff.

This is a live online event lasting 60 minutes and is delivered by Luminate Education Group.
