Programme aim

This resource aims to equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to evaluate how effectively your college is meeting local needs.

You’ll explore the purpose of the local skills improvement plan (LSIP), the ‘duty to review’ and the governing body’s role, and how officials will make skills judgements.

Who is this for?

This proficient-level recorded webinar is for governors who are working towards chairing a committee, or those currently serving as a committee chair for less than two years.

The objective is to move beyond an introductory level of learning and develop practical skills that can support the leadership of key governance functions.
