Through this self-directed learning resource, you will explore how to:
- fully participate in board discussions to shape the educational character of a college
- assess developments in the Further Education (FE) and Skills sector more broadly to understand drivers which may impact this character
- articulate and discuss the evolving educational character of the college and how this relates to the college strategy, mission and values.
Who is this for?
This proficient-level course is particularly useful for governors who may have served for more than two years and may be seeking to develop a deeper understanding across key governance topics.
