In this online course, you’ll develop your strategic understanding of financial decision-making in a board context. You’ll explore:
- behavioural bias
- key issues and applied methodologies in financial decision-making
- the roles of profit, cash and cost
- scrutinising and challenging investment appraisal decisions
- using sensitivity analysis information when agreeing financial plans and forecasts.
Who is this for?
This highly effective-level course is particularly useful for longer serving governors or governors who are working towards chairing a committee, or those currently serving as a committee chair. It is designed to develop strategic thinking skills in support of key governance functions.
