How can we help our learners prepare effectively for their upcoming English exams? Join fellow English educators for a practical session focused on proven strategies to support GCSE English resit learners as they prepare for success.
Aim of event
Together, we will explore:
- Applying cognitive science to English revision: Discover how key principles of memory, retrieval practice and spaced learning can help resit learners build confidence, retain knowledge and develop essential reading and writing skills.
- Maximising classroom revision: Explore practical approaches for delivering engaging, high-impact revision that targets common barriers, reinforces core skills and maximises progress in the classroom.
- Tackling the Exam with Confidence: Share effective exam techniques and strategies that learners can use immediately, from understanding exam questions and managing time to planning and improving written responses.
