Join the next ESOL Network event as we explore key challenges and opportunities at the start of the academic year, including managing mixed-ability cohorts, ensuring accurate initial assessment and level placement, and supporting learners with low literacy levels or those affected by trauma.
Aim of event
ETF Network events are interactive, discussion-based sessions designed to encourage participation, collaboration and the sharing of ideas. During this event, you'll have the opportunity to connect with colleagues in breakout rooms and discuss:
1. How do you handle classes where speaking and writing levels are very mixed?
2. What quick, low-prep activities build confidence early on?
Who is this for?
Anyone working in, or with an interest in teaching ESOL in FE.
