Professional Status Register

Our Professional Status Register details current members who have achieved Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status and/or Advanced Teacher Status (ATS) and are maintaining the status through their SET membership, a commitment to ongoing CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and adhering to ETF's Code of Ethics and Conduct.

Our register is currently offline for maintenance. Whilst we are making some improvements, please contact us at membership@etfoundation.co.uk with the membership number, full name and date of birth of the member whose status you would like to check.

From September 2024 QTLS holders, who are maintaining their QTLS status through ETF membership, will also be issued with a Teacher Reference Number, and will appear on the Department for Education’s (DfE’s) central record of qualified teachers managed by the Teaching Regulation Agency.

ATS holders, who maintain their ETF membership, may also be conferred with Chartered Teacher status (CTeach) through an arrangement with the Chartered College of Teaching (CCT) and will also be listed in CCT’s Chartered Teacher Directory. 

Please note, ETF members can opt out of appearing on the Professional Status Register, the DfE’s central record of qualified teachers and the CCT’s Chartered Teacher directory.
