Who is this for?
This programme is for all further education (FE) and skills leaders, including middle managers, senior leaders and strategic leaders who are looking to effect change in their organisation to make it a more inclusive place for both staff and learners.
Programme structure
The online programme will consist of one core module and four optional modules. Participants are required to complete at least the core and one option module to complete the training.
The core module is generic to all leadership roles whereas option modules provide the opportunity to differentiate, depending on the leader’s role, remit, and/or development need.

Understand your place, purpose and influence as a leader on inclusivity, identify techniques and skills for effecting change.
CORE LEARNINGS
Gain the skills to analyse inclusion issues using a systems approach.
Build a knowledge base of inclusive leadership practices based on evidence and case studies.
Plan interventions to increase inclusivity within your organisation.
Identify specific barriers to inclusion within your organisation.
Explore mechanisms to overcome barriers to inclusion.
Apply strategies to foster a more inclusive environment.
Recognise and manage resistance to inclusion efforts.
Develop and implement an actionable plan for improving inclusion in their workplace.
