This session will explore working with learners who have a demand avoidance profile. Practitioners are experiencing more learners who have this label, alongside one of pathological demand avoidance and/or autism. The approach practitioners take to making demands on this group of learners can have significant consequences for learning and achievement. This session will explore both challenges and successful strategies that can support effective teaching practice.
