Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB) in the Further Education and Skills Sector

In this course, you’ll develop your knowledge and understanding of equity, diversity inclusion and belonging (EDIB) in the further education (FE) and skills sector.

Programme aim

Explore how to:

  • create spaces that support and encourage respectful discussions around EDIB
  • help learners to understand and appreciate others, value diversity, and share their own ideas and insights.

You’ll also review your legal duties and responsibilities in this area – and consider how embedding inclusive practices will enrich your work with learners.

Who is this for?

Anyone who works in the further education (FE) and skills sector, including teachers, trainers, leaders, governors and support staff. 

Programme structure

This is an eLearning course which takes on average three hours to complete.
