Effective Board Behaviours 26/27

In this workshop, you will look at how to behave in the board room. Experience a board meeting as the principal and see how difficult it can be to present a big proposal to the board; take on the role of the chair and see what it is like to lead the board through significant change.

Who is this for?

This course is particularly useful for new governors, for those who have served for under two years or established governors seeking to refresh and update their knowledge in key governance topics.

Programme structure

This is a two-hour live online session.

•  Develop your understanding of effective scrutiny and challenge in board meetings, and how to ask powerful questions.
