Share your views on SEND support in FE and skills
Every day, professionals across the Further Education (FE) and skills sector make a difference to learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We want to hear about your experiences.
The Education Training Foundation (ETF) has launched a sector-wide survey to better understand how organisations and professionals support learners with SEND, develop inclusive teaching practices and prepare for proposed SEND reforms.
Your insights will help build a clearer picture of what is working well, the challenges facing the sector, and where future support and research should be focused.
We are seeking views from those working directly with learners to ensure future services, resources and workforce development reflects the realities of practice across FE and skills.
Whether you’re a teacher or trainer, SEND specialist, support staff, leader, teacher educator or quality professional, we want to hear from you. If this survey is relevant to your colleagues, please share it with them to help us build the fullest possible picture of SEND support across the sector.
The survey takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete and your feedback will help shape future discussions and inform SEND workforce development across the FE and skills sector.

The survey closes on 15 January 2027.
