Resources and support for advanced teachers and trainers in the FE and skills sector
There are several resources available to support Advanced Practitioners (AP) which have been developed as part of this programme:
1. The Advanced Practitioner Toolkit
An updated (March 2022) set of cards that aim to support APs to drive quality improvements in teaching, learning and assessment across provision.
The cards can be used when working one to one with colleagues as well as with small groups and department teams. They can also provide models and approaches that will help structure whole organisation interventions.
The updated (yellow) cards reflect new insights and evidence generated with, and by APs, as they developed a richer and deeper understanding of the AP-type roles from pan-organisational perspectives.
