Our transformation is unfolding in three deliberate phases so that we can listen, learn and improve as we go.

Phase 1: What’s been achieved
The new open front door ETF website has delivered:

updated design reflecting ETF’s expanded remit

mobile-friendly technology on a robust, secure platform

unified branding for ETF and SET under one new ETF look and feel
Access and use of the SET Member Portal, ETF Account, Booking System, Professional Development Platform (PDP) and Learning Management System (LMS) remain unchanged for now.

Phase 1 - getting started
From November 2025 ✅
Launch of the new ETF brand identity and website, creating a new open front door to showcase what we are doing to elevate teaching and leadership in FE and Skills.
Phase 2 - all in one place
From February 2026
Our new membership experience and booking engine, bringing ETF and SET fully together into one single login, profile, and professional development journey.
Phase 3 - growing together
From April 2026 onwards
We’ll continue to add value to users and members with a new AI powered self-assessment tools, digital credentials, and community spaces. To help professionals plan, connect and celebrate their growth and achievements.
What will this mean for you

SET Members: Your benefits and recognition remain unchanged - simply access them through ETF’s new digital home in February. With increased features and benefits.

Non-members: ETF now represents both ETF and SET activity - one organisation, one professional body.
This will ensure a more consistent, higher quality experience for everyone in FE and skills, whether you are an individual, provider or supporter.
