The Green Mindset Collective brings together leaders, educators, employers and policymakers from across the FE and skills sector to shape a shared approach to sustainability. This work goes beyond traditional “green skills” discussions. It sets out how people–place–planet thinking can be embedded into everyday teaching, leadership and operations - enabling organisations to act with confidence and coherence.
Why it matters
Sector leaders agree: the ambition for change is strong, but action is slowed by fragmented signals. The Playbook identifies the key barriers and opportunities, providing practical guidance to integrate sustainability into curriculum, culture and operations. It positions FE as central to the UK’s economic, social and environmental goals.
For you
The Collective has developed a practical Playbook and Provocations Pack, from Education Training Foundation, EAUC and FE News, designed to turn ambition into aligned, system-wide action and help every provider strengthen its role in supporting a just, green transition.
Real change happens when the sector acts together.
